Course Description

A Lash Lift is a chemical procedure that results in beautifully lifted natural lash without the use of a lash curler. A Tint is a chemical procedure that dyes the natural lashes to a darker color to give more dimension to the eye. Lash Lifts & Tints enhance and open up the eyes for a refreshed appearance. Results last 4-8 weeks depending on the natural lash cycle and aftercare.

*Please note Industry Standards/Spa Safe Theory (GEN 300) is a prerequisite for this course.

Completion Requirements:

Passing our oral & written exam
Demonstrates an understanding of all theory information

Practicum hours to be discussed upon completion of the in-class portion.

What is a lash lift and tint service?

A lash lift is a chemical process that is used to change the structure and texture of the lashes. Depending on the size of the shield used, the lashes can be lifted more or less dramatically. A lash lift is essentially a modern version of a lash perm without the perming rods.
How long does a lash lift and tint last?

The short answer is 6-8 weeks, but there’s a bit more to it than that. Lash lifting is a permanent service. That means, for the lifespan of each natural lash present at the time of a lash lift, that lash is permanently curled. But keep in mind that most people lose between 1 and 3 natural eyelashes per day. As mature lashes fall out, and new lashes grow in, you’ll notice the effect of the lash lift begin to lessen. By 6-8 weeks, you’ll have enough new growth to need another lash lift.
Who is a good candidate for a lash lift and tint service?

Eyelash Lift & Tint MAY NOT be suitable for clients that: Pregnant. If you have an appointment and found out that you are pregnant, please contact me right away and we can reschedule. Have very little natural eyelashes or have nothing. The gaps between your lashes will be more noticeable. Have pre-existing eye(lid) conditions such as chronic dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis and ocular rosacea. Lasik surgery (wait a minimum of 6 months from your procedure) Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows and eyelashes). Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test). Who are rough with their lashes Undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (recommend to consult with your physician). Are sensitive or have allergies to dyes (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test). Had blepharoplasty surgery (must wait a minimum of 1 year after your surgery).
